The change from “Beano” to “Bingo” became a reality when Edwin S. Lowe, who was a sales man in New York, came across the game and saw a big potential in it. Thus, he hired a Columbia mathematics professor to help him increase the combination of numbers on the bingo cards to 6,000. Since Edwin S. Lowe changed the game of bingo into the game as we know it today, bingo has developed even more. Thus, it is not any longer a game played in traditional bingo halls. Today it has moved on to be a popular online gambling game played by a huge amount of fans all over the world.
